Grey Skies 03:01
Grey Skies by Jen Lane grey skies are blowing in, it’s getting colder again blanket frost on riverbed, gets it dark in my head grey skies are blowing in, the air is hard and it’s thin, creeping up over my skin, can’t stop my eyes from burning i’m sleepless, again grey skies are blowing in, my solar power’s fading insides filled with chilled cement, can’t seem to say what i meant grey skies are blowing in, and here we are complaining in our warm and cozy beds, about goose bumps in the morning i’m sleepless, again
4.
Election Day 03:32
Election Day by Jen Lane i set out on election day, i voted for elizabeth may and i warned everyone they should stay on my page but they all sat at home and just waited for change i would have been happy on election day, if i’d have been from the united states oh, cause back in the parliament buildings this time they’re taking your money, and giving you mine so i threw up my hands and i shut off the news, and i moved way up north and became a recluse and i grew my own food and i shot my own meat and i never missed all the shit i used to eat i was free i set out on election day, i voted for the one with the brains and i asked all the people to join me in line they said, “nothing will change girl, you’re wasting your time”
5.
Feeling Crazy by Jen Lane will you help me to let go, if i say i will, i don’t know if i can go, another day still holding on, holding on lift me up where the angels sing and say a little prayer for me, tell me not to worry anymore about these things letting go, it’s hard, letting go well i heard of this before, now it’s me here on the floor, feeling crazy, feeling crazy standing on that mountain edge, i saw the water there i took a leap of faith into a hundred miles of air and i, was fine, yeah i, i was alright cause i heard of this before, now it’s me here on the floor feeling crazy, feeling crazy

Sad Sad Song 03:30
Sad Sad Song by Jen Lane pickin’ up the pieces put ‘em back together clever as we were we never really figured out that everything we ever said and everything we ever did is gonna find us somehow in a sad sad place, in a sad sad state in this tiny space, out there it’s always been a bumpy ride sometimes i even find it’s hard to wanna open up my eyes the more i see the more i get mad, the more i feel the more i wanna get back inside in a sad sad place, in a sad sad state, in this tiny place, out there pick it up put it in your pocket zip it up and lock it don’t tell your closest friends take it home try to figure out what’s wrong put it in a song it makes sense we’re in a sad sad place, in a sad sad state, in this tiny space in a sad sad place, in a sad sad state, in this tiny space

Earthquake 03:11
Earthquake by Jen Lane sitting in my blue room, i was thinking of you thought you could use a blue room too maybe a front step to gather your thoughts at, sort em’ out one by one you’re out of time, don’t you see everything is not fine you’ve got no love left to give, don’t you worry about your kids i’ve heard it all before you picked your ground, you stand proudly on it, this time will be different when the ground breaks open, you pour yourself out in, such a way you make it fit you’re out of line, don’t you think you should change your mind for all the time that you spent, feeling spread out thin and hell bent on the same things as before do, do, do you’re out of time, don’t you see everything is not fine you’ve got no love left to give, don’t you worry about your kids i said you’re out of line, don’t you think you should change your mind for all the time that you spent, feeling spread out thin and hell bent on the same things as before do, do, do sitting in my blue room, i was thinking of you thought you could use a blue room too
10.
Tough Love 03:38
Tough Love by Jen Lane you’ve been sittin’ here, for nearly forty years turning whiskey into tears, turning whiskey into tears i know that you’re hard like that, that’s why I got your back, but if you wanna just relax, i’ll be in the back yard there is, so much, i need to remind you of i guess, it takes, a lotta tough love i do declare that i’m done till you decide to bring me home you’re pullin’ everything out by the roots, you’re taking your turn i guess but you try to be thoughtful, cause thoughtful is best, but these days you can’t find your way out, i know you’re on to something but right now i think that you might just need to be, someone else, something more, not like you, something more cause there is, so much, i need to remind you of and i guess, it takes, a lotta tough love i do declare that i’m done till you decide to bring me home
11.
End Of The Line by Jen Lane all the king’s horses, and all of his men, couldn’t put me back together again but i’m kind of elated, that i’ve become a little jaded, because i’ve won, it is what i made it anyway at the end of the line, you’ve been waiting there for quite sometime while i was outside, smoking cigarettes and drinking wine, you were on my mind i was out on a wire, i felt numb, i thought i could fly and so i jumped, and to my surprise i hit the ground but when i woke up, i saw your face, you were still looking up but that’s ok cause you won’t get enough of what you found at the end of the line, you’ve been waiting there for quite sometime while i, was outside, smoking cigarettes and getting high, you were on my mind don’t be late, oh, don’t be late, i’m already here at the end of the line, you’ve been waiting there for quite sometime while i was outside, smoking cigarettes and drinking wine, at the end of the line, by the fire, smoking cigarettes and drinking wine, you were on my mind
12.
For The Night by Jen Lane what would you think if i stayed out in the backyard what would you do if i wanted to stay there all night with you oh darlin’, what would you say if i told you we were in space and that the stars, they were all ours, for the night for the night

Angie 04:30
Angie Angie, Angie, when will those clouds all disappear? Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here? With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats You can’t say we’re satisfied But Angie, Angie, you can’t say we never tried Angie, You’re beautiful, but ain’t it time we said good-bye? Angie, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried? All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke Let me whisper in your ear. Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here? Solo 2x Oh Angie don’t you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet I hate that sadness in your eyes But Angie, Angie, ain’t it time we said good-bye? Solo 1x With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats You can’t say we’re satisfied Bridge But Angie , I still love you baby Everywhere I look I see your eyes There ain’t a woman that comes close to you Come on Baby, dry your eyes But Angie, angie, ain’t it good to be alive? Angie, Angie, they can’t say we never tried
